Heather aims as a supervisor to provide her supervisees with the support, skills, and resiliency building capacity so that you can do your best work and be fulfilled in your practice. Her supervision framework is built from principles of the Common Factors Discrimination Model of Supervision and the Self-Model of Humanistic Supervision.
Heather uses a collaborative evaluation process and monitors the supervisory relationship on an ongoing basis.
Heather has extensive experience providing group training and has spoken at conferences on topics such as trauma and parenting, stress versus burnout, emotion coaching (Certified Emotion Focused Family Therapy Caregiver Workshop facilitator), adoption related topics - Life Books, transitions, trauma.
